It comprised Raichur, Dharwad, Bellary districts, with a few regions of Ananthpura, Shivamogga, Chitradurga, and Tumkur.

Mummadi Singa A Bedar Nayaka, who founded this Kingdom, was under the service of Malladevaraya of Rayadurga, and then built his own Kingdom
Nuniz states that Kampiladevaraya, the King of Bisanaga, was beset on all sides.

The Sultanate of Delhi was ready to wage war against Kampiladevaraya, but he successfully defeated them.

Later, Kampiladevaraya & Son Kumararama defeated the Hoysalas and Kakatiyas.

It became A Powerful state
The Delhi Armies were defeated and compelled to retreat

Paradara Sodara Ramanatha Kathe A Contemporary Kannada Sangatya states Delhi Sultans were defeated twice against the Kampili Kingdom and were frustrated, although they won on the third occasion due to internal fights.
The First Invasion of the Delhi Sultanate resulted in a loss for Sultans army.

The loss sustained by the Mussalmans was so heavy that it crippled their strength

Baichappa The Minister of Kampili Kingdom, Prince Ramanatha, and Katanna played a crucial role in this victory over the invaders.
The Mussalman Army faced humiliation after the defeat at Baichappa penetrated into mussalman camps and threw them away.

The Muslim army was so scared by the attack

Kumararama took this as an advantage, and Muslims couldn’t bear the onslaught of Kumararama; they ran panic-stricken.
Finally Kampili Kingdom fell into the hands of the Delhi Sultans, although having fought valiantly

The Mussalmans swarmed on every side and scrambled into the fort.

Ibn Batuta recorded that the kings gathered all his women and children in front of the citadel and slew them performing Jauhar.
